Comme beaucoup d\u2019entre eux ont un point d\u2019\u00e9bullition bas, ce qui leur permet de s\u2019\u00e9vaporer dans des conditions atmosph\u00e9riques int\u00e9rieures normales de temp\u00e9rature et de pression, ils deviennent des produits chimiques volatils.  <\/span><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #02538b; font-size: 23px;\"><strong>Pourquoi les compos\u00e9s organiques volatils sont-ils pr\u00e9occupants ? <\/strong><\/h2><p>Pour commencer, de nombreuses op\u00e9rations de fabrication telles que la production de produits chimiques, de produits pharmaceutiques ou les processus de rev\u00eatement ou d\u2019impression, utilisent ces compos\u00e9s organiques comme solvants ou produits chimiques r\u00e9actifs. Dans ces cas, ils s\u2019\u00e9vaporent ou se vaporisent facilement dans les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chemviron.eu\/fr\/applications\/emissions-atmospheriques-industrielles\/\" rel=\"noopener\">flux d\u2019air extrait<\/a> des processus de production et peuvent \u00eatre rejet\u00e9s dans l\u2019air \u00e9vacu\u00e9 sous forme de compos\u00e9s organiques volatils (COV). <\/p><p>De plus, de nombreux processus de gestion des d\u00e9chets rejettent \u00e9galement ces COV dans l\u2019air. En outre, \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des b\u00e2timents, de telles vapeurs peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre lib\u00e9r\u00e9es dans l\u2019air par l\u2019utilisation de produits et de mat\u00e9riaux contenant des COV. <\/p><p>Par cons\u00e9quent, les COV suscitent des inqui\u00e9tudes en tant que polluants de l\u2019air int\u00e9rieur et ext\u00e9rieur, car l\u2019exposition \u00e0 ces derniers peut avoir un impact n\u00e9gatif sur la sant\u00e9 humaine. Dans l\u2019environnement au sens large, ils peuvent cr\u00e9er du smog photochimique dans certaines conditions. <\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #02538b; font-size: 23px;\"><strong>R\u00e9glementations europ\u00e9ennes sur les \u00e9missions<\/strong><\/h2><p>L\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne s\u2019efforce continuellement de ramener la pollution \u00e0 des niveaux qui prot\u00e8gent la sant\u00e9 en \u00e9tablissant des r\u00e8gles plus strictes pour s\u2019attaquer \u00e0 la pollution \u00e0 sa source. Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, une r\u00e9vision planifi\u00e9e de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consilium.europa.eu\/en\/press\/press-releases\/2023\/11\/29\/industrial-emissions-council-and-parliament-agree-on-new-rules-to-reduce-harmful-emissions-from-industry-and-improve-public-access-to-information\/\">directive sur les \u00e9missions industrielles<\/a> (IED) et du r\u00e8glement sur l\u2019\u00e9tablissement d\u2019un portail sur les \u00e9missions industrielles (IEP). <\/p><p>Par exemple, l\u2019UE a r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9 la nouvelle <a href=\"https:\/\/environment.ec.europa.eu\/topics\/industrial-emissions-and-safety\/industrial-and-livestock-rearing-emissions-directive-ied-20_en\">directive 2024\/1785 relative aux \u00e9missions industrielles et de l\u2019\u00e9levage<\/a> (IED 2.0) comme principal instrument de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions et de pr\u00e9vention de la production de d\u00e9chets provenant des grandes installations industrielles et des \u00e9levages intensifs (porcs et volailles). Elle modifie la directive 2010\/75\/UE.  <\/p><p>L\u2019IED 2.0, qui est <a href=\"https:\/\/environment.ec.europa.eu\/news\/revised-industrial-emissions-directive-enters-force-2024-08-02_en\">entr\u00e9e en vigueur le 4 ao\u00fbt 2024<\/a>, vise \u00e0 minimiser l\u2019impact de la pollution sur la sant\u00e9 des personnes et sur l\u2019environnement. De plus, elle vise \u00e0 simplifier l\u2019octroi de permis via le nouveau r\u00e8glement sur le portail des \u00e9missions industrielles, qui am\u00e9liorera l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux donn\u00e9es environnementales. <\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #02538b; font-size: 23px;\"><strong>COV et charbon actif<\/strong><\/h2><p>Lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit de traiter les \u00e9missions de COV, le charbon actif est particuli\u00e8rement efficace car la plupart des COV sont organiques et sont donc facilement adsorb\u00e9s par celui-ci. Cependant, pour une \u00e9limination optimale des impuret\u00e9s, diff\u00e9rents types de charbon peuvent \u00eatre n\u00e9cessaires, selon la combinaison de polluants, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse d\u2019une impuret\u00e9 ou d\u2019un compos\u00e9 organique ou inorganique. Beaucoup de ces polluants peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9s efficacement de flux gazeux autres que l\u2019air, tels que l\u2019azote ou le dioxyde de carbone (CO<span style=\"font-size: 12px;
