La composition r\u00e9elle du biogaz peut d\u00e9pendre de l\u2019origine et de la nature des d\u00e9chets ou de la biomasse trait\u00e9e, ainsi que des performances du processus de digestion.<\/p><p data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"891\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Cependant, pour utiliser le biogaz comme source de carburant, que ce soit pour la production d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 ou pour son injection dans le r\u00e9seau de gaz naturel, il doit \u00eatre purifi\u00e9 \u00e0 des niveaux tr\u00e8s faibles de certains composants, afin de garantir une qualit\u00e9 ad\u00e9quate. Ainsi, pour \u00e9liminer ces impuret\u00e9s, le biogaz brut doit subir plusieurs \u00e9tapes de traitement afin d\u2019\u00eatre valoris\u00e9 en combustible \u00e0 combustion directe ou en gaz naturel renouvelable.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quelles sont ces impuret\u00e9s ?<\/h4><p>Il existe de nombreux types diff\u00e9rents de contaminants ou d\u2019impuret\u00e9s que l\u2019on peut trouver dans les flux de biogaz ou de biom\u00e9thane.<\/p><p><strong>Le sulfure d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne (H\u2082S)<\/strong>, ainsi que tout compos\u00e9 soufr\u00e9, comme les mercaptans issus de la d\u00e9gradation de biomasses contenant du soufre, peuvent provoquer des probl\u00e8mes de corrosion dans les moteurs et les \u00e9quipements, et ainsi affecter les op\u00e9rations en aval. Ces compos\u00e9s sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e9limin\u00e9s d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res \u00e9tapes de l\u2019\u00e9puration du biogaz.<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"271\"><strong>Les compos\u00e9s organiques volatils (COV)<\/strong> proviennent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des d\u00e9chets m\u00e9nagers et sont particuli\u00e8rement fr\u00e9quents dans les gaz de d\u00e9charge ainsi que dans certains types de biogaz agricole. Ils doivent \u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9s en raison de leur impact sur les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s en aval.<\/p><p data-start=\"273\" data-end=\"791\"><strong>Les siloxanes<\/strong> pr\u00e9sents dans le biogaz sont des compos\u00e9s organosilici\u00e9s volatils provenant g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de d\u00e9chets issus de produits m\u00e9nagers tels que les d\u00e9tergents, les shampoings, les d\u00e9odorants, les dentifrices et les cosm\u00e9tiques. Ces siloxanes contiennent une liaison Si-O-Si qui, lors de la combustion, peut g\u00e9n\u00e9rer du dioxyde de silicium (SiO\u2082). Celui-ci se d\u00e9pose dans les moteurs et autres composants, provoquant des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts et r\u00e9duisant leur efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, ce qui n\u00e9cessite un entretien plus fr\u00e9quent.<\/p><p data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"1015\"><strong>L\u2019ammoniac<\/strong> peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre produit lors de la d\u00e9gradation biologique de biomasses contenant de l\u2019azote.
