The Purification Solutions Provider
Chemviron, a Kuraray company and European Operations of Calgon Carbon, develops and applies activated carbon and filter aid technology to protect people and the environment from harmful contaminants in water, air, food, and industrial processes.
Sustainability in Your Supply Chain
Chemviron is the world’s largest recycler (or reactivator) of activated carbons and has activated carbon reactivation facilities across Europe. Chemviron has developed state-of-the-art processes to recycle activated carbons to enable the destruction of the adsorbed contaminants while restoring the spent carbon to a reusable state. Combining reactivation with Chemviron’s high-performance activated carbons means our customers benefit from a sustainable purification solution, reducing their CO2 footprint.
Customised Solutions with Practical Support
Chemviron’s technical expertise and experience across a wide range of European industries enables our engineers to provide the most appropriate and cost-effective activated carbon and service solution for your application. Our dedicated technical service laboratories conduct accelerated column testing and provides pilot units for site evaluation to enable us to determine the ideal operating conditions for the process. Contact our dedicated technical team for more information.
Purification Made Easy
Chemviron’s mobile carbon filters combine an on-site carbon adsorber and transport vessel for movements to and from the site, eliminating the need for on-the-spot activated carbon exchanges. Our Plug and Purify concept ensure rapid installation, immediate start up and minimal disruption to your site operations. The range of mobile carbon filters are widely used in air, biogas, water, and liquid applications.
A Secure Supply
Chemviron is the world’s largest manufacturer of granular activated carbons which have been used for purifying air, water, and liquid chemicals for over 80 years. Being a producer of coal, coconut, wood and cloth-based activated carbons engineered for every application uniquely positions Chemviron to select the best product and solution.
